Hello, I am Polly. This is my website and I hope you enjoy
reading all about me on my dog blog, about the people I meet, the animals
I meet and the walks I do.
I was born into the care of Scottish Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue
on 21st November 2006. My pregnant mother was given to the Rescue because
her owner didn't want her anymore. There were 4 of us born, 2 girls and
2 boys.
My mother is a beautiful red Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
My father? Probably Collie.
Anyway, luckily for me, Bosswoman came and took me when I was 7 weeks old and has looked after me ever since. I used to live in North East Scotland but now live in South of England, where it is very nice (usually warm) with plenty of fields and a few little hills for me to run in. I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures as much as I enjoy having them.
I have walked many thousands of miles and climbed quite
a few mountains. I remember when I climbed my first Munro (mountain over
3000 ft) Ben Whyvis when I was just 9 months old and just how hungry and
tired I was when we got back to the tent at night, but I liked it though.
I live with my friend Amber, a pedigree Staffordshire Bull Terrier, some
chickens, ducks and a grumpy rescue cat whose owner went to jail so she
came to live with us.
Amber is a nice dog but she is a bit pushy. I don't really mind her though and we do have good fun playing tug and chasing rabbits and squirrels, but she does get a bit narky when I pinch her stick ~ I mean, she COULD share it!
I have plenty of pictures of me and my friends for you to look at, all the places I have travelled, and details of the sponsored walks I have been on and the money I have raised for the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue.
Every day we go on very nice walks and if you are lucky enough to meet me on my walks, then please send me your picture and I could put it on my friends page.
Hello, I am Amber.
I live with Polly. I was born 5th August
2007. I am a pedigree Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Because I am smaller
than Polly, she thinks she can boss me around but I don't let her. Polly
says I am a nuisance because I like to sleep on her bed with her but
she says I snore too much and when she sniffs things out in the field
she says I stick my nose in and get in the way. I think Boss Woman is
a bit mean because when me and Polly get a biscuit, I eat mine first
so then I try to share Polly's biscuit and Boss Woman stops me and tells
me off. The reason I eat my biscuit first is not because I am greedy
but because mine are smaller (I think so anyway). My legs are shorter
than Polly's and sometimes she runs really fast when she pinches my
stick because she knows I can't catch her. Me and Polly are really good
friends and I do miss her a lot when she is not with me.
Like Polly, I have walked thousands of miles (but not as many as Polly) and also like Polly, I climbed my first Munro Mount Keen, when I was 9 months old. I loved it. Me and Polly were rushing about in the snow and the heather for ages and I was well tired when we got back home.
